Our Gate and Barrier Solutions

Sliding Gates

Sliding gates are ideal for sites where space is limited or where the driveway slopes upward behind the gate line. The gate slides horizontally along a track or is cantilevered above the ground, requiring only a narrow strip of space to one side of the opening. We install sliding gates in steel, aluminium, and timber, with automation kits rated for frequent use in commercial environments.

Swing Gates

Swing gates offer a classic, elegant entrance solution for residential and commercial properties. Available as single-leaf or double-leaf configurations, swing gates can be automated using underground operators, ram arms, or articulated arm systems depending on the gate weight, width, and pillar construction. We supply swing gates in a wide range of styles and materials.

Barrier Arms

Rising arm barriers are the standard solution for controlling vehicle access at car parks, loading bays, and site entrances. We install barriers with boom lengths of up to 8 metres, with options for high-speed operation, integrated LED lighting, and skirt panels for pedestrian safety. Barriers can be operated by proximity readers, push buttons, intercom systems, or automatic number plate recognition (ANPR).

Vehicle Access Control

We integrate gates and barriers with a range of access control technologies to automate vehicle entry and exit. Options include proximity card readers, key fob systems, keypad entry, intercom with remote release, and ANPR cameras. These integrations reduce the need for manned security and improve traffic flow at busy entrances.

Safety Sensors and Compliance

Safety is paramount in every automatic gate and barrier installation. We fit photocells, safety edges, induction loops, and light curtains as required to prevent entrapment and crushing injuries. All systems are installed in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations, and BS EN 12453/12445. A force test and risk assessment is completed for every installation.

Intercom Integration

Audio and video intercom systems can be integrated with your gate or barrier to allow visitors to announce their arrival and request access. We install flush-mount and surface-mount intercom panels with options for multiple call buttons, camera modules, and connection to internal handsets or smartphones for remote gate release.

Maintenance and Servicing

Automatic gates and barriers are mechanical systems that require regular servicing to maintain safe, reliable operation. We offer planned preventative maintenance contracts that include lubrication, adjustment, safety device testing, and a full operational check. Regular servicing extends the life of your equipment and helps you meet your legal duty of care under the Machinery Directive.
